The Curt Class III hitch # C13315 made for your 2016 Lexus NX 200t does indeed use a different mounting point than the Draw-Tite # 75956. The reason is that the higher tongue weight (TW) capacity of the Curt hitch, 600-lbs, requires installation on a different section of the frame. My contact at Curt confirmed this for me. The Thule T2 XTR bike rack part # TH83JV that you referenced would work for both of the bikes you mentioned as it can fit wheel diameters up to 29 inches and tires that are up to 5 inches in width. Hitches can have either a round crosstube or a square crosstube, the horizontal part that you see from the rear of the vehicle. The difference is purely cosmetic; some customers find a round tube hitch tends to look nicer on certain vehicles. But the actual receiver opening that will accept the shank of a bike rack or a towing ball mount is always square.

When you put the Helium Pro # TH44VR in the hitch, get the pin in place then tilt it right to left as you tighten the hand knob at the bottom. It seems like you don't have the knob tightened down all the way. You can see what I mean in the video I've included for you. Right at the beginning of the video I do exactly this and it does not learn like yours is. I've used this on many many vehicles in the past and never had this issue when it was secured properly.
